First day of hiking done. The area had such LOTR/ fairytale vibes, it was almost like someone tried too hard, haha.

I wish I had a better camera, but I imagine you’ll dig the pictures anyway, @Bagsy @mr.v3lv3t

Also I found canned chicken with just 4g of fat! Had a real ‘@T3hPwnisher would be proud of me’ - moment in the supermarket, when I stocked up on that disgusting stuff to get lean protein in while hiking.

Excited for you dude! Hopefully you can find some stuff that ISN’T disgusting sometime.

The taste isn’t bad. With mustard, I’d actually like it. It’s more the thought of what quality of ‘meat’ that probably is …

Omg. Yes.

My stereotype of German food is sausages, so this makes me chuckle, haha.

Add sauerkraut to that to really top it off, LOL

There is a saying amongst butchers regarding that topic: “making sausage is the art of making water cuttable”.

Yeah especially the cheap sausages contain very little actual meat. I don’t eat that stuff often but still like it, haha.

In Britain we have a law requiring sausages to be at least 40% meat related product in order to be labelled a sausage, and at least a fraction of that has to be actual meat.

I’m sure there is a similar rule here but ‘meat related’ tells the whole tail.

There was a TV experiment where they hired a really good butcher to make a sausage to contain as little actual meat and as much water as possible. Then they entered that sausage into a contest and it actually won a certificate and 1st price. The butcher couldn’t believe his own eyes and was not happy.

Intentional pun? Or happy accident?

Look @dagill2 I finally tried your bouldering thingy. In a stylish white wife beater nonetheless.
Sadly without cute girl (honestly heartbreakingly sad but that’s a story for another time).

And yes, I wanted to flex. I’m decently satisfied, I think I look pretty muscular there

So just asking before the end of my trip: How many photos of nature and hiking is too many for a meathead forum? I enjoy sharing, haha.
