I definitely do believe Christian Bale pumped himself full of AAS and was probably chomping down 6,000 - 7,000 calories per day to pack on that kind of mass in such short time.
I’m an AAS user myself, and spent a great deal of time training naturally. Even those “omfg, you can get that big naturally eeeasy!” people have to agree with this one. The way he looked in Batman Returns is very easy to achieve, but to go from a walking spaghetti string at 120lb to 220lb at an apparent 11%BF in half a year is definitely AAS.
A stupid article indeed, but I agree Bale would not have been able to pull that off without some help. He put on something like 100 pounds in 25 weeks and was just as lean as before. Phenomenal dedication to his craft to put work like that into a role. He’s amazing.
Well fuck, he got paid millions to train and eat. That is hobby for most of us. [/quote]
You are right of course, he isn’t doing this out of the goodness of his heart. But even with millions of dollars on the line, few actors would’ve accepted a role in a low profile film like The Machinist that required them to starve themselves on water and cigarettes to the point of their health being in jeopardy when many other more lucrative, though less appealing from the art of acting standpoint, were probably available.
Especially taking a role like that knowing that he had a Batman deal on the table that would start filming shortly thereafter that required him to look like a superhero. That’s pretty ballsy.

TG1, you do have a gift for summing up a situation, Hehehheh…

Not only are these sub-morons a bunch of loose-lipped haters, they are an insult to generations of their ancestors who sacrificed all to provide them a chance to acheive, and they squander it, yet have the gall to run their not-attached-to-a-brain mouths! Really chaps my hide!

It chaps my hide too buddy!
I think.
What does that mean anyway? Does it hurt when it happens?
Does anybody remember the other white supremacists in American History X, the ones Derek met in prison? Those were some large motherfuckers. I think that people confuse muscular with violently, criminally insane.
I’ve noticed the people who say things like “that guy has to be on “roids”, there is no way he could look like that natrually” are usually just lazy fuckers looking to justify their own lack or willpower or results.

I know u’r teezin’, but…
American cowboy/horse soldier slang, refers to the beating your lower body takes from being on horseback for an extended period of time, "chapping’ being the damage to your contact points (inner legs, genitals, buttocks) which is your “hide”, and it damn sure hurts!/;-D

You noticed right!! Dont u just wanna’ give em’ a swift kick…
I think its good that some celebs give a damn about how they look. Clearly there are many who don’t! I think LL set the whole thing off for Hip Hop. He was bulked out for a while then he got ripped, and of course 50 came out swinging, still need Snoop Dog and Fat Joe to become Juice Dog and Ripped Joe! Yeah right? That would be entertaining, as much as these guys get paid and as much time as they have why not? As far as if they use juice, who knows, who cares? More than likely a jealous accusation, but then again ain’t nothing wrong with a little assistance. Its better than promoting Obesity!
I used to see Dre training at North Hollywood Gold’s gym every single day. He trained with a lame trainer that had him bench press like three days a week. I never saw him make any progress. I read his is working with Stan MCquay. I hope he beats up somebody or something.

Considering he was about 200 lbs before, his initial weight gain back to 200 would have been fast. To pack on another 20 lbs of muscle in the same time period is not hard to imagine naturally.
