Pendulum BB

I have got to give a plug to CT. His latest article is kick-ass! I love CW’s training programs and use them frequently throughout the year. But I have to say, from a pure bodybuilding stand point CT is the man!

It is nice to see new ideas and techniques (to most of us) such as tempo and iso contrasts. I really love the advanced, technical techniques that CT uses.

I implemented the tempo, and Iso contrasts into my leg workout today and had the best workout ive had in a long time. The tempo contrasts are very, very intense. and produced an unbelievable pump! I was on the verge of puking for the entire hour. The iso contrasts seemed to work especially well with calve exercises.

I urge you guys to check it out, It?s a bad ass program!

Would a reply involving a dumb question make you happy, P-Dog? I didn’t see any direct calf work in CT’s pendulum BB plan. Did you just adapt the plan to calves or were your calves sore from all of the stabilization they had to do during the slow-tempo squats and RDLs?

Probably not that dumb a question. I’ve noticed that the best “calf workout” I ever had was doing 20-rep squats. Amazing all the muscles involved in just standing with a heavy bar on your back.

well i didnt follow the routine that he outlined. i just added his intensity increasing techniques to my own workout. i follow a different split that he recommends. yesterday i trained quad dominant legs and calves.

Hey p-dog, great you’re shareing your experience w the program. Hope you give us an update in a month or so. That would be very interesting.

Yep CT’s workouts and plans are fundamentally sound and keep me involved. After seeing his transformation you have to respect his programs and you just KNOW you’ll do well on them.

I’m going to try the pendulum BB program starting Feb 2. I just got back from a long break and am reconditioning (today is first day back in gym). After this I am away in Jamaica for a five day jaunt and then I’ll come back and throw myself into the Pendulum BB.
