This is a rookie question, but i am having trouble building my pecs. Specifically I have good lower and lateral pec development but poor upper medial size- Is this just a matter of emphasis on fly exercises, or are there any other exercises that are recommended. I’m referring to my pectoralis major.

How much do you weigh, dude?
It reminds me off a person I knew that worked out for barely 3 months and was worried about muscle imbalances and asking me for advice on how to correct it.
Low inclines and get stronger/bigger.
That’s all you need to worry about for now…
ok; fair point, should probably get bigger first- am 5 10 84 kgs with 8% bfat
Inner vs outer pec development is largely genetic. As mentioned, simply focus on building bigger pecs for now, then worry about fine-tuning.
Best,
Dr Clay
yes just try to build an overall solid base of size for a year or even 2 before worrying about weak area emphasis
Before you or anyone else puts that much enegy into worrying about training variable you should spend some time learning Anatomy.
As it would negate alot of your questions as well as answer a few.
There was a similar thread a while ago. It would be wiser to start a thread about lagging upper or lower pecs, but inner and outer? ouch.
