Finally, if you doubled 265 a couple of times on Monday and then on Tuesday missed your second attempt that is NOT considered to be a 50% performance decrement. Instead, using a 1 rep max calculator I get 283 as the max for a 265 double. So 265/283=93.6% or a 6.4% performance decrement. Considering that you are relatively new to training you may consider doing something relatively simple like Pavel’s Power to the People program for a couple of key exercises and using the wave cycles. If you overly complicate your training in the beginning stages then what will you do when you start to plateau? Leave some tricks in the bag for later.
What the hell does that have to do with Guacamole?
Talk about your random tangent.
I was going to mention something about guacamole at the end but then I thought that might be even worse . . . letting a post masquerade as if it is on topic when it clearly isn’t.

Damn - you out-subtled me. Not that that is an amazing feat - but well done nonetheless.

I insist you are a genius (aren’t you a calc teacher or something similar?) and now I feel really good about myself. Trouble is it won’t last long.

Ahhhhh I see, I mistook you for a tan fellow named Skidmark! Wait, can you be seen by daylight!?

Skidmark died. He drowned in a vat of his own musings. I’m much more fun.

Does anyone shave their arms for an increase in pressing speed? And if so, how much did it add to your bench press? I’ve seriously been considering doing this.
I may also wear a cone shaped hat for increased aerodynamics while squatting.
Oh, and guacamole sucks. Humus is where it’s at.
let me clear this up right now!! you NEVER shave the extremities, chest or ass. Hair adds resistance much like cheater gear. I find that ass hair alone give me at least 20lbs on my squat.

Is braiding allowed in any of the feds? Seems to me it should add a couple of pounds at least…

What if you shaved your arms or legs to get the cheater gear on more quickly? Do those two just cancel each other out then?
Also, what about back hair? My rule was always that my man must do something about back hair if he had it, but I certainly wouldn’t want to negatively affect his performance in the gym.

I like to live by the old saying -“no pain, no gain” cheater gear should cause pain putting it on. hair needs to be ripped out of the follicle as you put it on. this should remind one that cheating is a bad thing and the only true lifting is done in the buff while also yelling “lifetime drug free”.
Back hair is a definite must in powerlifting. It’s a sign that your dosage is correct. It also adds friction when squatting and benching. there have been many times when i’ve been squatting and if it wasn’t for my silverback gorrilla back the bar would have slid right off me. also, there’s no need for chalk on your back when benching if you have a good thick coat of upper back hair.

Im basically smoothie with my 12 chest hairs and as such I have to do all my lifting chalked up like an african nude wrestler guy. So smooth i cant even do low bar back squats.
Been trying to get my pelt on by eating more guac. I think that the best ingredient for my needs is to pop a bit of Dbol up in it. That should have a more hirsute looking me in no time.
HOLY GUACAMOLE!!! That shits crazy good!!! Yo i notice when i do my manscaping i loose like 30pds on my squat! It all makes sense! All natural from now on 4 shore!
