Two weeks ago I started my second cycle of 500mgs/week test cpy. Now I was initially taking 40mgDbol/day along with the test however the stuff turned out to be bunk and was making me feel like shit so I stopped it. I planned to run the cycle for 10 to 13 weeks depending on how things were going in terms of gains, sides ect. Recently I have been pulled into doing a strongman show in about 10 weeks time. This came totally out of the blue so I’m a little confused as to what I should do with the cycle if anything.
I will be planning for my strength to peak around the time of the competition using simple periodization. Is there anything you guys might recommend to take for the few weeks leading up to and during the competition. From what I know, introducing something that produces fast increases in strength such as anadrol or dbol would would work well. Also the water retention would be nice for the joints with all the heavy lifting.

So you’re two weeks in and the show is in 10 weeks? That would put you at week 12 of your cycle and at the “top of your game” in my opinion. I wouldn’t change a thing as long as your training is proper. I’m in the same boat as you, preparing for a strongman comp in early May.
Yeah…I was also thinking after 10 weeks on test the receptors might not be in great shape. Therefore introducing dbol or anadrol may not have much effect at such a late stage of the cycle as they would at the beginning. I would love to hear other thoughts on this though.
Not speaking from experience, but I know that some of the guys I powerlift with like to run some haladrol or tren right before meets. Strength and aggression increase with very little weight gain.
roofus_5 I think you’re thinking of halotestin, not halodrol. halodrol is a PH. halotestin is an oral that I’ve known of powerlifters taking. Unless haladrol is a completely different substance and not a typo…
I actually have 10mg Halo anyone like to recommend how I should use it. I need to be at my strongest on week ten of the cycle. When should I introduce it?
