Test e mast e tren e pre contest cycle questions

49 m, been lifting for 30 years with a few off years along the way. Have been back at it hard for the past 3 years when I started trt. Have run a few low dose cycles (test/deca) (test/var) (test/mast/var) (test/primo). Decided to finally step on stage.

Started test e 600 mg mast e 450 mg tren e 200 week pinned m/w/f at about 14 weeks out. Currently about 8weeks out 5’11” down to 213 from 225 close to single digit bf. Things have been good overall no real sides other than some minor sleep issues which are mostly under control now. I’ll be the first to admit I should have a better grasp on where to go from here but am looking for some advice from people who have competed before.

I added in clen at 12 weeks going 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Started 2nd 2 week cycle today at 20 mcg for first two days then up by 20 until I hit 100. I also added in var last week at 25 mgs for first week and started with 50 mgs and was planning on running that to 4-5 weeks out and switch to winny 50 mgs alongside the clen right through to the show.

I also have anadrol on hand and have seen people say they like adding that in for the last few weeks but am unsure if I should or not.

So I guess my questions are:

  1. Should I be adjusting down or removing any of the injectables and when?
  2. Am I overdoing it with all the orals?
  3. Is the timing of adding in/removing orals ok?

Any advice from experienced competitors would be greatly appreciated

You should be switching to short esters at 5 weeks out

I would be running the following orals from 8 weeks out
50mg/day anavar
50mg/day winstrol
100mcg/day T3
40mg/day clen

This is dependant on what works best for you. Above it what works for me and for some others that i’ve helped.

I wouldn’t touch anadrol within 10 weeks os a show. Halo is what guys run close to a show to keep strength up when deep in prep.
I would also drop all compounds at 1.5 weeks out and start dandelion root 2 weeks out to help dry you out further.

What show are you doing?

I am not well versed in bodybuilding prep, but I would not use this before a stage contest. it’s not going to give you the look you are after. However, if you feel yourself really fatigued and need to keep the workouts up then MAYBE pre-workout a couple times a week? Halo might be better for that tho, but that is a whole other can of worms. talking like 2 weeks out maybe.
