Anadrol on deload / rest week before meet?

Im 28yo, around 230ish , 6”1

Been powerbuilding (mainly bench and squat) and also armwrestling since 2020.

Last year I started with test 250 a week only. All pretty good, great results nothing crazy.. Training 5/6x days week plus some cardio here and there ( not cutting so less right now)

I will have an armwrestling tournament coming september.

My current stack is

300 Test E/w (tried Deca but got a lot of acne ,was running it almost 1/1 with test) Maybe will try NPP in the future.

4 IUs HGH p/day

10mg anavar pre workout sublingual

10g creatine per day + joints supplements + NAC+ high dose VIT C + omega 3

High protein diet , carbs are moderate Will increase them now since my category doesn´t have any weight cap (I can get to 240-250 ish next month , Adrol may help )

Im planning on adding Anadrol aka Abombs 50mg/day (2 hours pre workout) for the last 4 weeks before competition . Never used it nor DBOL. Only turinabol at low dose (20-30mgs / day with pretty decent results)

My main question is should I run the Anadrol on the deload week and off days too before competition? Last 7/8 days I will not train anything upperbody, only legs and some cardio, so I come in 100% fresh at comp day.

So should I still take anadrol on those rest days to maintain high blood levels of it?

Or only take it when Im training hard before the deload? And then maybe add it back 1/2 days before competition and ofc at competition day. (maybe 100mg )

It totally depends on how you react to the appetite supression.

Edited as I thought you were referring to a powerlifting meet……

I’m not sure anadrol is the best choice for pulling.

It does help with neural drive, but strength athletes use it primarily for added bloat.

Have you considered halo or anavar?

Hello yes I have used Anavar @30/40mg with good results (it helped keeping me lean,more veiny and also collagen synthesis / tendon repair power)

In terms of pure RAW strenght it felt weaker for me than turinabol, I can´t imagine it compared to Anadrol.

Halo heard is too harsh, may give it a go in the future depending on the level I get to. (international events). Superdrol is also on that list.

I have a good bench, last time I tried a one rep max I did 405 with ease. (even with relatively long arms, narrower grip but I have huge tricep strenght) I might give 450 a go next month when the Anadrol starts kicking in. (currently only training chest 1x per week only but triceps 2x/week (my main techinique is toproll, and press as second) - JM presses, Weighted Dips and also pressing on the pulley).

The key with the strength boost from anavar is to do sub lingual pre training.

Anadrol also works well in this fashion.

Powerlifters do just fine with halo pre-contest.

The poison is in the dose duration and administration. Sub lingual will drastically reduce the exposure time.
