Hey, just for reference I’m roughly 3 weeks out from my first competition and from Sunday the 3rd - Saturday the 9th I’m going to be running a mock peak week. I’m going to be front loading carbs (Sun-Tues) and then tapering off towards Saturday (Sunday is the day of my show).
The only thing I’m confused about is the training, as all articles and what not talk about training in the sense that you will be using a back loading carb system. How would I go about training and cardio doing my front load?
For reference this is my training split:
60 minutes of cardio everyday
M - Shoulders/Triceps
T - Back
W - Off
T - Chest/Biceps
F - Legs
S - Off
S - Off
All exercises I do 1-2 warm ups and 1 all out set to failure (Mike Mentzer style)
