Dude, not only is that thread from 2006, but Dillet froze up SEVERAL times on stage. He would be so carb depleted and dried out that his muscles would lock up on him. He was pretty well known for that.

When I met him at Jay Cutler’s seminar some 6 months ago. Paul seemed quite the unhappy man, I guess that shit really gets in your head. He’ll never forgive himself for whatever he did to make that happen.
It’s too bad, he was incredibly big and a fairly tall guy. Now even I’m bigger than him.
It really to bad. It’s such a long hard climb up and only a short step down.

From what I’ve read from him when he wrote in MD, he has had a lot of personal problems.
How much did he weigh when you saw him?

I was 245ish back then and 3 inches taller than him.
I’m gonna go with 200-210lbs tops.
He seemed really unhappy with allt he people trying to get pics with him

you’d think people would ease off a bit.
i wouldnt ask him for a photo, just seems like its being done to ridicule him or something.
im not saying anyone who got a pic with him is trying to humiliate him, but that it probably comes across that way.
i know if i lost all that weight i sure as hell wouldnt want people posing for pics with me looking smaller.

I know, I didn’t even recognise him but I was with my friend and he insisted we go for pics so I went. I feel bad for the guy, Paul’s physique was insane and he’s one of my faves so once I found out it was him I just couldn’t not have a pic.
That is fascinating to see some of these guys now that they are off the gear.
Its nice to see some of the guys not as the monsters they where it makes you think anything is achievable.
I would have not have recognised him, that man was a monster one of the best pro bodybuilders ever, must be like living a totally different life now.
I wonder if he is still training?
One of my favorite bodybuilders for sure. One of the first tall guys to really bring it in the legs department and reeeeeeeeediculous arms, size and overall shape.
Woah, old thread. Didn’t expect seeing a pic of myself in here!
haha
That charged guy seems like a damn legend.
Here I was thinking he’s dead…
I opened this thread thinking, damn Paul died on Christmas.
lol… fuckin thread bumpers.

It’s too bad he never got his posing down.
I’m watching some clips on youtube, and for the Olympia stage… it’s cringe worthy at times.
what happened to him? did he had to stop lifting? sorry the ignorance.
