I’ve been diagnosed with a small paraumbilical hernia. The doctor said “take it easy and listen to your body”. I train MMA, so obviously that will have to take a break for a few weeks while I’m waiting to visit a hernia clinic and it will be a few weeks before they get back to me to decide whether surgery is the best course.
My question is in regards to other training…conditioning, like running stadium stairs,general bodyweight stuff etc. I’ll be grateful for any advice from guys with experince or knowledge. I’m hoping to maintain as much physical ability as possible, as my technique might take a bit of a dent.
