Pain In My Back!

I most likely pulled a muscle in my back 2.5 weeks ago from a high pull/front squat/ push press hybrid. I waited 2.5 weeks, then tried to exercise, but my back felt pain after squats(2 set 15 reps).

My doctor recommended that I take Motrin and relax my back. I’m really pissed off that I can’t lift.

Also, I did 2 sets of 15 squats(135 lbs). That’s a moderate amount of weight, but I did a lot of reps. My quadriceps have been sore since I finished the workout. I don’t understand it, since I’ve only been off for 2.5 weeks, yet I had worked out 6 months straight before the injury.

What does the pain mean?

The pain in your quads means you didn’t lift in 2.5 weeks. It just comes from not using your quads like you have. 2 x 15 @ 135 is more than two tons of lifting. If you don’t have sex for 2.5 weeks and then domore than a couple minutes of some banging, your weiner will probably be sore, too.

The pain in your back means you didn’t give it enough time to heal. Your back does not care if it pisses you off to not lift, it will heal in it’s own time. Try some non-back affecting leg work if you must.
