Hurt Back After Clean/Squat/Press

I was doing a Barbell Hang Clean/Front Squat/Push Press hybrid, after which workout I have had noticeable back pain in the right-hand, middle part.

I’ve been resting since last Tuesday.

What should I do, because I want to get back to lifting?

I think any pain that lasts more than a week is nature’s way of telling you to go to the doctor.

About a week ago I got a similar problem doing power-cleans… Does it hurt when you twist your body left and reach over with your right hand? I think it may have been from putting the weight down cause my gym doesn’t have any bumper plates.

Anyways its a little over one week later and I went about the same workout yesterday with only slight pain upon waking this morning. I took the week off from dead lifts and shoulder pressing. i continued lifting with everything else without much pain. I say get to the gym, see what you can do, if it doesn’t feel manageable take a few more days off, no oly lifts for a week.
