Any time I do straight bar curls, with over 100 lbs., or so, I get this terrible pain in my forearms. It feels like a tendonitis pain, and runs right down the bone. It hurts the most when I put the bar down, and release my grip. I have tried changing hand positions, but haven’t gotten much relief. Someone else told me that ‘this is why they invented the EZ bar’, but I always kind of thought that the EZ bar was more for brach’s, and was kind of a cheater’s way out.
Anyone else have this problem? More importantly, anyone found a solution?
