My Halloween costume tomorrow exposes A LOT of leg and its kind of chilly so I have been thinking I might go with tights…BUT I wanted bare legs out since this is one of the only times of the year its ok to rock this much leg. Ah well, the things I do in the name of vanity. And pride. Should I suffer in the name of quads city? Maybe if I bundle up on top I won’t freeze.

Wow you are lifting some awesome numbers. It seems that our #'s are close to the same on a lot of lifts, right now I am doing 5/3/1 and my traing max #'s are
deadlift - 235 (1repmax- 275)
Bench - 150
Squat - 205
military press - 125
5’3"
135 -138lbs (depending on the day)
I have not maxed out on any other lifts cause normally I dont have a spotter. Any way great lifting going on here, hope you dont mind me posting my randomness in your log.

Downtown was fun last night! I went with the bare legs and I’m happy I did because I feel like I would have actually been uncomfortably hot otherwise. I had 3 drinks spaced out over the night. A martini, a white Russian (I know, I know, probably one of the most damaging drinks you can get but my boyfriend went as “the dude” so I HAD to get one), and some frighteningly strong bloody Mary sans tabasco sauce that my friend whipped up(probably the most terrible thing I’ve ever choked down). I also ate a short stack of pumpkin pancakes for breakfast and 8 mini Resses’ just now and now my tummy hurts. Ok, no regrets…moving forward, and here is my costume!! Hello Kitty. Not everyone got it but the people that did loved it!

Those are legs to be proud of! And very rare to see calves like that on a woman, great job.
I started training seriously (i.e. doing more than just pullups and push-ups and actually eating something for once) at 120 lbs (5’10) at 20 y.o… Conv. deadlifting really isn’t for me (I pull modified sumo now, i.e. not with the super-wide stance, closer to what Ed Coan used to do before his injury… My legs sort of get in the way on a regular deadlift and I just can’t stay arched in the starting position)… I hit 270 conventional for a double the first time at maybe ~185 lbs or so… (I can hear you all laughing. Bastards.)
All that to say: You’re doing well, keep it up!

Lol! Thanks, I really need to be more consistent. I’m supposed to train them twice a week, but I go home early sometimes. I can’t wait to get a bit leaner because I know I’ll have a fun vein popping out of at least one of them. Right now I’m on track to start a fat loss cycle in January, but that’s subject to change if I start to feel like a balloon.
Feeling like CRAP right now. Too many refined carbs aaaah!! I have to remember that “bulking” is not an excuse to eat like shit and get really fat. I HAVE to remember this because if not I am literally doing it wrong. My system is too sensitive for that. Having a horrible headache and what I like to call 'behavioral problems". Lol. I’m pissy. Tomorrow will be some seriously constructive self denial. Will be telling myself “NO!” out loud if I must.
