MIM, I have not had any chronic elbow problems yet. Sometimes when my tris are really pumped/swollen my elbow will twinge a bit if I go for an extra set kinda like telling me “no don’t take it there…”

Then I high-tailed it after these squats! Me and the beau’s 2 yr ani today. We’re gonna celebrate this weekend though, I’m making him my Famous Chocolate Layer Cake with ricotta cheese and mini chocolate chip filling and fresh whipped cream frosting!! Yum!
Cake was delicious, only had a tiny piece because I’m extra sensitive to sweets atm and it gave me a headache. Worth it. Deadlifts. Did some singles today still working form. These were all pretty. I think I’m learning my body a thinger two.
I was tentative to do them as well, but once I got some weight on them, I didn’t really didn’t feel so silly. It was nice because I could use lots of weight for reps since the ROM is so short. I felt they were effective and will help with glute activation and explosivity (is this a word?) if I continue to do them. My hamstrings are still sore from doing them Monday and I didn’t even squat heavy. I think I may be coming down with a touch of the flu or something though so that may be the cause of the soreness.
Still not feeling 100%…
Was supposed to deload deadlifts today, but got carried away and just ended up doing some really shitty sub maximal singles…ugh, never again!
