Awwh Thanks RBlue! I did use a strap for the rows, I’ve never been able to do that may @ 70lbs without one. I figure its doing no harm because it gets me more reps, and I haven’t had any grip problems. I do generally make good food choices, but I am a nibbler

Haha you probably will out do me on dips! I am a little baby bird about them. It was actually bobbi from PW that suggested/commanded I add weight. I know I should be doing more/heavier, so maybe you will encourage me to step up my game!
Weird and wonderful squat workout yesterday. It was weird because I am not used to squatting heavy and with volume anymore. It was wonderful because I completed it and laughed in the face of failure and I will soon be squatting heavier and with more volume than ever!!

Nah, I’m not at a deficit right now. I’m generally trying to exhibit self control and have replaced most of my snacks with whey and water though. I won’t really be focusing on reeling my calories in until after my first wave of magnusson/ortmayer and I’m on my deload week. that reminds me, I’m a lil hungry. Maybe a spoonful of cottage cheese before bed!

I tried an ammonia capsule for the first time today. I swear when I got to this back of set, I thought 8 was going to be a stretch! Woah, ammonia made a huge difference. I just wanted to keep lifting and lifting and lifting the bar!!
Ok here come some very dorky and embarrassing videos. I somehow mashed the ammonia packet too hard and somehow managed to cut my thumb on it, and then sniffed it very gingerly because honestly I was scared, but woooh it worked!! Unfortunately my camera man has 10 thumbs instead of fingers. He fumbled and stopped recording after the first two reps of my set of 14 so of course, we don’t have the complete set on record!! He got like the last 8 reps though, I’ll just post all the vids for godsake. They are amusing enough…

HaHA there was no conversation! My boyfriend just got some and I decided I needed to try it for my max rep pull. Really the effects lasted until after my set was done. If I could have physically kept pulling, I would have. It just makes you really want to lift something heavy and then continue lifting it repeatedly! I felt like it brought out my animal instinct like crazy. My boyfriend says it “pisses him off” but I guess I would explain it as more of a sense of “awakening” to your total strength and animal capabilities!
I might try it for squats sometime just because I am such a weiner about them, but it really seems like its most beneficial for the deadlift.
I think the funniest part was when I showed my cut to the camera and you can’t even see it! It looks imaginary hehe. It was bleeding quite a bit by the time I was done though…
