I had a weird zig-zaggy bench workout today, not how I planned it, but thats how it turned out.

I was about ready to call it a day after that bench workout, but I squeaked out 2 sets of bodyweight dips.

I don’t even have a good estimate
I have refrained from maxing my deadlift…like ever…so all I have to work with is my 1 rep max estimate. The meet is April 24th though so I think I can get some max attempts in before then. Somebody tell me if that is a foolish idea.
Also, does anyone have a recommend on what singlet I should get?

I caught up on your whole log last night, you are wicked strong, so cool.
Not a stupid idea at all to be pulling some singles now. You’re five weeks out. At this point, my work sets are three reps or fewer. You’ve gotta train the CNS to handle the heavy, heavy weight for one rep.
And order your singlet now. In my experience, powerlifting gear companies can take weeks to ship.
Ok I will order it today…I just don’t know which one to get still. I wonder if I should just get any ole singlet or invest in a nicer one. That way I can wear it to other places. Like school, walking my dog, and dinner with friends.
Committing to things really makes me nervous. This is good practice for “real life.” I am doing the meet. I am definitely doing the meet. I have to put it into words so I can’t change my mind because I don’t want to change my mind. I want to do it.
Do the meet. You won’t regret it.
Definitely order the nicer singlet so you can wear it out clubbing. Seriously, I ordered a plain black one from Monster Muscle. I will warn you that these do run a bit tight, so take that into consideration depending on what type of fit you want.
