Overtraining Scenarios

I am doing WM with Monday = Day 1, so I lift weight on Mon. Wed. and Fri. I worked out today and I am planning to workout on Sunday as Day 8 because I have some activities (recreational rock climbing and football…) to attend to on Monday. I will then take 2 days off and back to the gym on Wed. and continue with the program.

Now, is working out Sunday then play on Monday puts more stress on my body? Or workout on Monday and the activities on the same day would put more stress on my body?

if you just think about it for awhile, missing ONE DAY OF LIFTING is not going to affect you AT ALL in the big picture. seriously, just enjoy the rock climbing, and try to enjoy football in this heat, hah.

I’m in the same situation with you and will be getting my lift in on Sunday.
