What kind of grip should I use when doing OH squats?? A wide snatch-grip?? Or a much closer military press grip???
Snatch grip.
If you can do it with your hands close together, God bless your shoulder girdle because it has taken some extreme stretching for me to be able to do them with a snatch grip.

yeah start out with a snatch grip. After your workouts, with an empty bar attempt OHS with your grip maybe a 1/2 inch slower. Continue this over time.
Also, try doing OHS with a snatch grip barefoot with just the bar after your workouts.
I have worked up to doing OHS with the bar during a JERK grip while barefoot ATG. haha I mention this in every OHS thread around. When I started I could barely do a snatch grip OHS.

although I am ready for the personal trainers of the world to realize how awesome these are for “the core” and get people to try and do one legged OHS with the object leg on a wobble board or something. just watch, it’ll happen.
I vary my grip. I start out really wide and warm up light. Then as I get heavier I move my hands in. The closest I get is my pinkies on the rings.
I have my first or second fingers on the rings. But I don’t know what I’m talking about.
