Yup dead stop off the pins!

I am hoping to get some time in with a metal strongman log this week. I will film if possible. I will not, however, wear seasonal attire (and stop asking…you know who you are).

nice work! how much do you weigh?

Hatesmiles- Nice!

Kalle- you definitely almost had that pr.

what is a z-press?

How about snatch grip behind the neck from full squat? Anyone care to try some? I managed 5x28kg lol

I have a bunch of 69kg press outs that should count for something of an overhead push-press ;D

Question for Andy: You’ve told me before but I forget. When does a push press become a push jerk?

the important part starts at 00:30, where you can see my current push press PR 105kg, i´m planning to get at least 115 by the end of 2012 (@ ~82kg)

i varient of the overhead press that i believe was made popular by Zydrunas Savickas where he presses from the rack BUT he is on his knees? takes all hope of leg drive out of lift.

I believe they are done seated on the ground, that’s how Kalle does them. He has a video on page 9 of this thread.

As soon as your whole foot leaves the ground.

Do you mean squat it up then push press it up from behind the neck with a snatch grip?

Thanks Swolegasm!

No, I mean be in the bottom of an overhead squat (or snatch) with snatch grip and press it behind the neck while in the bottom position.

Behind the Neck Squat Jerk maybe?

Not really sure what it’s called, but we did those yesterday in my oly class.

Edit: Like this guy…

I’ll try and take a video when I get home of what I mean. They probably have a name.
