Here are my stats
height- 6’4"
weight- 170
I play volleyball everyday for two hours for highschool.
My problem is that I would love to not be skinny anymore, only thing is I have no idea where to start other than with the stickys at the top of this forum. Advice from anyone would be much appreciated
thanks
get a shovel for all that food you will need.
eat every two hours, keep it fairly clean but don’t be anal about it
focus on mostly the big lifts, and if you are serious about volleyball and other sports than focus on performance and strength, the size will come with it.
maybe try westside for a skinny bastard?
Well the “stickys” are there for a reason - it’s a great place to start.
That said, at your age (you mention playing volleyball in high school) you’ll probably see decent gains no matter what you do as long as you stay focused. In a few months they will begin to taper off - then you can come back here and ask more specific questions - once you put in some time under the bar.

thanks guys, looks like I’ll be back in a few months!

I was just thinking the same thing. Don’t worry too much about aesthetics. If you’re training hard, your body will change with it.
Another thing - you HAVE to eat! Every two to three hours whether you want to or not. I used to have the same problem and had to make myself eat even if I wasn’t hungry. It’s hard but if you’re not gaining, you’re not eating enough.
Here is the WS4SB’s article: http://www.T-Nation.com/readArticle.do?id=667308 There is a template there for you to follow. If you have any questions, please post them! I use this program and I know you’ll have lots.
Whatever you decide to do training wise, good luck to you. Kalle has made some awesome weight/strength gains though and well worth paying attention to…so I am just agreeing with him here.
