Opinions on My Beginner Routine

Hi guys, I’m starting a new routine and just wanted your opinions on it. Looking to put on some muscle foremost and increase my strength. Was thinking of adapting a 3*5 routine so how does this sound:
Going to do a ABA routine Mon, Wed, Fri, doing ABA 1 week and BAB the next week.

A:
Squat 55
Bench 4
6
Deads 46
Cable crossovers 4
6
Dips 3*failure

B:
Squat 55
Bent over row 4
6
overhead press 46
side lateral raises 4
6
Pull ups 3*Failure

I plan to increase the 46 to 48 then up the weight and work from 46 to 48 for the new weight to progress.
How does this sound for a beginner routine?
Should I change anything round?

Sounds similar to Rippetoe’s Starting Strength program. You may want to take a look at that one, I’m on it right now and it’s been producing results for me.

The main difference between your program and Rippetoe’s is you have cable crossovers and lateral raises and do less benching and you do more volume in everything, especially in deadlifts. Therefore, I assume you know more than Marc Rippetoe. NOT!!

Why do you doubt the most successful beginner program ever? Why do you think that you can improve on it?
