I have always loved the simplicity of Stronglifts. Good luck with it. I typically end up quitting because my knees get pissed of squatting 3 days a week. LoL
Are you going back to StrongLifts because of the injury? TBH, it seems like you are starting too low on the lifts not impacted by the injury. Your body is strong, what is 5 reps at 245 lbs on deadlift going to do for you? Maybe maintain? Yeah, the program progresses fast, but it will still be over a month until the squat and deadlift are even remotely challenging.
Maybe you are working on form?
