Welcome back my friend. Will see you guys next month or the first of the year. Thanks again for the priceless hospitality my last trip. The Missouri Mule
Breathing treatments twice a day, every day. Gets old. When I went to the Doc she says my blood oxygen was 90%. Not gonna die but I sue didnt feel good. She gives me a breathing treatment and says " Im gonna give you my go to stuff.
Its the same stuff weve had to use to bring my father in law back a couple of times with.". Back with? “Yeah, we lost him a times. If this doesnt work for you were in trouble”.
As far as the bench day went, felt strong considering. Moving the weight wasnt the prob, fatigued sooner than I hoped.
Big B always welcome.
Guys Thanx for touching base with me. Means a whole lot. For real.
Well I train mine for lock out more than anything. When most guys do them they pull them down further than I do. I stop over the bridge of my nose. Ive seen your vids and you come down like most guys, around the chin. Its just a couple inches but it does make a difference. When you pull it down past your nose I feel you start pulling in the tie in between the delt/pec. I dont want to fool with that. So call me a cheater.

And your over a 225 single, Id say 3-6.[/quote]
I wouldn’t call that cheating. I would call the purposeful, or targeted, training.
And with the shoulder issues you have, that makes complete sense.
Edited to add: And while stopping at the nose might avoid some transition, you can’t disregard the effort it takes to stop the weight from descending any further, as opposed to letting it stop on its own, like mine.
My nephew says its harder for him to stop at his nose too. Humm.
New Gym. Time for a change. Still sick. More on that in a bit.

Its Been a bad week. The good News? Ive got skin cancer on my face! Have to see a dermatologist. My lungs are still messed up. I have to see a Phonologist. Doc says Im not moving air out. I asked if it could be COPD and she wouldnt rule it out.
Im not sure if Im going to be able to dead lift or squat any more. My left foot is contracting. I cant keep it straight. Doc says she thinks Ive crushed a nerve some more. MRI on Tues. The last one I had (years ago) showed moderate deterioration. Soo lotsa pain and weakness lately.
