What’s this? Did I miss something?
Escandalo???
Edit Oh, I see. How terribly sad.
What’s the most dangerous situation you’ve ever experienced?

There is a story to tell!
Goal is to lose the handles
six pack and
arms definition.
AVATAR AND PICTURE TAKEN
FEBRUARY 9TH
My Journey for the 28 days on the V-Diet.
For the 1st 2 weeks I followed the diet and found
the weight loss surprising and even more surprised
how you could maintain muscle even Grow!!
Yet at the end of 2 weeks I found my mood effecting me
more than I would allow to function daily.
I started to add carbs but maintain the calorie count.
But that was when the loss slowed down.
I was averaging 3 lbs a week.
Yet on this diet if you have the fat to lose
would be anywhere of 4 to 7 lbs. on average.
I would think for the 4 week I lost
12 lbs. and lost 7 inches.
In all it was successfull.
The thing that I found surprising is what a high level
of protein can do for the body and even though I knew
this it never has the impact until you do it.
The velocity cleaned up my eating habits and showed
me what a regiment of conscious eating can do for your body
and mind.
I think we all know this. Its a matter of acting on what we
know.
My goal is clear and will continue on building my physique.
I’ll keep posting and give you more on what I think.
and of course Pictures.
I found personally that if you are hypoglycemic as I am
that you may need more carbs to stabolize your blood sugar.

I was putting bananas in the shakes
Hmm, POTASSIUM!
what were your hypoglycemia symptoms?

Lack of focus,
lethargic,
workouts were flat,
no energy. (I think that was a normal
accurance when you do the V-Diet)
Moody,
Doctor said to maintain
a clean diet and prior
to working out and dieting
I was liberal with eating.
You know the see food diet.
I am siginificantly better.
Eating complex carbs I thought
was the way to go but found it hard on
my system and now eat
Brown rice and other grains sparingly.

Consider adding instead the coconut butter I was using.
That stuff is a much better alternative to bananas for hypoglycemic symptoms.
MCT fats burn like carbs and it tastes real good and adds a satiety to the shake you won’t get from adding carbs.
protein + carbs will never fill your tummy!
plus it gives you thyroid support.

I do have it in my kitchen, I’ll try it!!
I consider it one of the ultimate endurance foods.
the other being pemmican.
You can go for hours and the blood sugar doesn’t roller coaster.
Bring it when you go backpacking.

We dont back pack in the San Fernando Valley.
We car pool!
You mean the Pemmican you buy from the 7 eleven?
eewwww!!
I find that if I eat simple like an
apple and cheese or jerky makes
it easier on my blood sugar.
Small and frequent.
I feel even better if I can walk
away from a meal and still feel a little
hungry.

looks like the bird seed you hang in cages.
like rillet d’oi only…beefier
Eating so frequently for hypoglycemia is merely treating the symptoms.
You need to stabilize yourself so you can go longer between meals.
You don’t HAVE to go long times between meals, but you should be able to do so without getting dizzy, melting down, having tantrums, etc.
That requires a measure of good fats and reduced carbs.
It can take a while, because the problem was a long time in the making, so it doesn’t get fixed overnight.
You’re probably looking at some adrenal fatigue, especially with your thyroid symptoms. They play off one another.
How’s your sleep quality and schedule?
Well, from the looks of your fat storage pattern, you’ve got cortisol issues.
You’ll beat it, though, but you’ve got to take care of business.

I keep coming across recommendations to increase Flameout.
I will be doing this.
I have also started to add the coconut oil to the shakes.
lifestyle and stress levels are less of an issue for me as
working out has been helping.
I do feel much better limiting carb intake but need to watch those levels
When I was strict with the Velocity diet I felt horrible.
Lost Weight pretty damn fast though.
The increase in fats hopefully will help.
Sleep is far better now. Again I contribute it to diet changes and working out.
DAWG,
I believe the suggestion increasing healthy fats is
making a difference. I’m noticing a smaller waist, or its
being on my 5th week of a regiment is starting
to show. I keep noticing almost daily details in my physique that werent there yesterday.
Keep losing the fat and muscle will show.
I’m starting to see it.
calorie count is around 1500 to 1900
I’m starting to journal to help with the progress.
