Brider, damn fine idea!!! Chains would be perfect.
Progressive resistance would be great. But the idea of progressive resistance is that you can use more weight where you are the strongest and less where you are not as strong. But unfortunately for one arm dumbbell ROWS!!! The easiest part of the movement is when the chained dumbbell would be lightest cause all that chain is going to be on the floor. When the dumbbell is at the top of the movement it is hard enough even without all that chain hanging off of the dumbbell.
Well, you were looking for ways to INCREASE the resistance, right?
Ok your right. I will give the chain idea a shot on back day. I’ll let you know how it works.
