Today was filled with yardwork and crap inside the house that no one will ever notice that I did. I spread 30 bags of mulch and went through several boxes that were all half full and taking up way too much space. I threw some things away ( not nearly enough) and I consolidated some boxes. The yard looks lovely and my basement is slightly more organized. I really want to do a solid purge. We should be moving in the next few months and I would like to get rid of lots of things. Our house has become entirely too full. It’s beginning to become stifling.
Tomorrow will be more mulch and painting doors. I might even buy the supplies and hang shelves in the pantry.
Tomorrow also marks 16 years since I last gave birth. I’m excited for my boy. He will be skipping school on Monday so we can go get his license. Then we will go to lunch together and I will grant him his birthday wish. When I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday he said “drive by myself”. So looks like I will be stranded at home while he goes for a drive. Lol.
My entire body is sore from a hard day’s work.
Today is a good day.
