Oh okay. Gotcha! Thank you
I was reading about TSH levels and antibodies etc and one thing that stuck out was about taking anti inflammatory drugs like advil/ibuprofen. It didnāt mention WHICH way it would sway the numberā¦but I do live on advil PM when I go to sleep. Maybe I should cut downā¦? Iām sure it isnt the healthiest habit anyway
Try melatonin for sleep. More natural. Works for me.
After reading this post it reminded me of an article I once read when starting testosterone. I went and found it again.
https://dosagemayvary.com/trt-high-estrogen-really-need-try-splitting-dosage/
Iāve only been on testosterone a little over a year but if itās one thing Iāve learned is that more is not better. I think there are people who need 200mg of T a week but those people are very few. I started on 200mg 15 months ago and it took a long time to realize, I do not feel good on 200mg. Iām struggling now after recently upping it to 150 but Iām thinking about dropping to 100-120.
6 months ago I tried about 100mg total split into 50mg 2x a week. I actually felt great! Iām 44 and Was in better shape than 18. I was just a few pounds from a 6-pack. BUT I panicked when my test for T came back at around 450. I actually felt really good for months but in pure stupidity I upped it slowly to 150 E3D thinking of all that muscle I could be building all the while trying to figure out what dose of anastrizole I should be taking. Nothing but problems! My blood work was all over the place. Iāve had high E and now Iāve crashed my E ā¦ constant Erectile issuesā¦
If Iāve learned anything, itās dont start out at 200mg a week, split your doses and wait at least 4-5 weeks before changing your protocol.
Great post^^
If you want muscles, sure, up the T amount. Build muscles. But you will likely risk mental clarity, libido, erections and not being anxious.
Total t doesnāt matter. What was your free t. Thatās what matters and would tell the story.
So with 450 a free t of 10 sucks and probably wonāt feel great. But 20 probably better.
Share that and I can learn from your experience.
Iāve had ALL of those things for years BEFORE TRT. This is what Iām trying to fix
I started at 100mg for 3 monthsā¦then 200mg.
Thanks for taking the time to find that article! I will take a look !
are you saying if he ups the T dose he will lose mental clarity and become more anxious?
Johnny i could not find what you were referencing - what do did you have prior to TRT
I have had ZERO libidoā¦for YEARS. ED problems for YEARS. I would say since my mid to late 20s .maybe 26/27.
Well, definitely ED problems since then. And it has only gotten worse. Way worse. I have been fatigued, mental fog, etc etc. My libido has been absolutely ZERO for years. It fn sucks. Watching porn? I dont get excited. It takes a good amount of EFFORT. its fn stupid
youre not the only one. i have been meh for years and could never figure out why. i had a spike in libido a few years back when i took a lega OTC substance that actually had a prohormone in it (superdrol). I dont share this to encourage taking this drug, but in hindsight and asking a lot of guys who know a lot more about hormones and anabolics, i believe the drug pushed my SHBG down, thus freeing up T and creating a raging libido. This drug as well as a few others are known to push down SHBGā¦ and i have been doing a lot of homework lately on how i can control SHBG. Back then my libido might have actually only been somewhat higher than normal, but for me it was extremely high, and that was empowering. I felt like a normal guy
Me too zero libido/arousal since early 20s.
Trt hasnāt helped.
do you know what other prohormones do this?? I was actually thinking of doing superdrol but I was concerned eith the sides. I was thinking of halodrol or epistane possibly.
whats your current age now? have you checked SHBG?
i am not super knowledgeable about what they all do but in my SHBG research i have seen TRT users report masteron and proviron help with this, but i think Mast increases DHT in the blood. i would for sure research it and not take my word
Have you guys found a specialist or a private doc? Or jsut the traditional uro and endo and self trratment?
Boron is a good supplement that helps balance hormones per a local physician.
Why boron? How does that balance hormones?
Checkout the post thats on this forum.
I am 43 and I have not had my SHBG tested. I will have him look at it on the next blood test
