hey johnny,
Your TPA is on the roof! you are in a autoimmune condition (molecular mimetism) that attack your thyroid cells, that causes the classic hashimoto condition.Molecular mimetism induced by leaky gut (google it). Proteins get it to the blood stream causing an immune response.
Cut gluten
Cut Suggar and high insulin carbs.
Add probiotics and prebiotics in your diet daily.
Green leafs.
Bone broth
Omega 3 and magnesium
Kelp
check your D lvls, it should be more than 70.
Find a Doctor specialized in D vitamin protocol (Coimbra Protocol) they know how to recover your thyroid.
*If your actual Doc doesnāt know how to treat it, kick him off. thyroid medication does not cure hashimoto.

Proviron TANKED my libido and it should have done the opposite. It is touted as a great medicine for SHBG reduction, but it failed FOR ME.
Danazol works; I have documented its success with repeated blood work and a more balanced life.
I really wanted Proviron to work ā¦ PLUS, proviron is not sold or permitted in the USA, which means I would not have been able to use it (legally) 6 months per year when I was in the USA.
I am not a doctor. I supplied many of those studies to my doctor for him to gain more insight into Danazol. If you continue to search, you will find studies involving men.
Regardless, the major takeaways from the studies are ā¦ Danazol reduces SHBG. So far, there is NO question or confusion from every study I read to dispute this finding.
And second, doses as high as 600-800mg per day (!!!) were used for months at a time in women without major side effects. That is at least 6-8 times the dose used in men. Iām at 100mg (2 50mg per day). I still supplement with Boron as well.
In my uneducated opinion, this is what it comes down to. You get a 30 day prescription from your doctor. You do a blood test before and after and look at changes. Look at SHBG decrease (mine by 2/3 if I remember correctly) ā¦ and then look at the liver markers to make sure nothing changed.
In 2018, I averaged one blood test per month. My doctor has been more willing to step outside his comfort zone as long as I was regularly checking blood.
BTW ā¦ are you self medicating or do you see a doctor for scripts?? I guess that would make all the difference.
I was going to have to source Proviron and do that via the internet - if i was to go that route. Other than that i have been embarrassingly / painfully honest w the doc
