I have been on TRT for approximately 6 mo this now (the past 3 months I have been on 200mg / wk).
The box/script says inject once per week but I do it in half dosages twice per week to keep my blood level more consistent.
I still have ZERO libido and ED issues.
Has anyone had similar issues and can anyone offer any suggestions?
I have a dr appt to review my blood work today - in which my test levels were 1289 (total) and 207.5 (free). I am 43.
I am also on Anastrazole (2 pills a week which I do one on the day after each injection).
Any info, suggestions etc are greatly appreciated as I am frustrated as hell. I notice if I take a ton of yohimbe hcl then all seems to be okay (well, the yohimbe and liquid sildenafil).
Did you have your E2 and SHBG checked when getting bloodwork? Also is your Anastrazole 1mg per pill? Please post the full results of your bloodwork it will help everyone on here work through the issues you are experiencing. Not saying I would know the solution but that is what everyone will want to see.
That’s why you have ED and libido issues. If SHBG is low you may need more frequent injections than twice weekly as you seem to aromatase quite a bit. Also it makes no sense if SHBG is low to have levels this high.
You may have some sort of autoimmune thyroid issues going on. In autoimmune disorders, your immune system makes antibodies that mistakenly attack normal tissue. Antibodies that attack the thyroid gland cause inflammation and impaired function of the thyroid.
I’m not familiar with your Free T range, you need to provide your labs particular ranges for all labs values.
SL - this may be a dumb question, but as guys why do we need a certain amount of E to have a sex drive? I see johnnys E is really high and he has issues. Mine was below range and i feel like me and johnny are in the same boat, effects wise.

Free T range (250-1100 ng/dL is normal) I have 1289
And my Estrogen was 90.6 pg/mL where the normal range is 60-190
That’s not Free T, that’s Total T ranges. You’ve got it mixed up.
Bizarre ranges, probably for testing women who have higher estrogen than men do. Labcorps E2 sensitive ranges tops out at 35 pg/mL for men. Also wanted ranges for Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies.
Johnny, not an expert here so won’t be able to help. Just for my own curiosity, how do you feel in general? Do you feel lack of energy, do you sleep well, do you get irritated easily, gym progress? In other words, do you have other symptoms of low T other than libido? I find it quite interesting you being on Test for 6 months and still have libido issue.
I dont believe I feel any difference since starting.
I started at 100mg/wk (once a week). Then after 3 months I did 200mg (2 injections of 100mg per week) .
I go to see the doc today about my bloodwork results. He had mentioned last time that he may bump me up a little more but if my labs show 1289 total test and my free test that was above range , I dont know if he will.
As far as how I feel… like I said, I dont think I feel Amy difference. I dont think I have any more aggression. I may or may not be just as fatigued as i was before. I’m not sure. I still feel fatigued. But i would assume it’s gotten better (between the test and the thyroid medication). But i really cant say anything has changed enough to notice. Still irritable etc
Also…since I didnt pay attention to the estrogen levels because it was supposedly in the GREEN area.
…I just looked back at the past results and it shows a steady decline in Estrogen from about September of last year to now. Sept looks like 150…March is 90.6. Hopefully it will keep declining?
Checked the Thyroid? This thyroid being broken can cause serious fatigue . Oh god knows how much better I felt when I popped my first pill. It was relieving.
I have Hypothyroid. I’ve been taking Armour and now NP Thyroid for it. He recently upped my dosage on it.
My ALT was high according to the range and my Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies was at 122 which looks like it is double of what the highest range of normal is.
The other thyroid stuff seemed to be in range according to the range (TSH 2.83, T4 .9, T3 4.1)
Being that we don’t have your e2 and you are taking two AI pills a week (guessing they are a mg a piece). I’m thinking your e2 is in the shitter especially in relation to your higher T numbers unless I missed something in the thread.
Like I said just a guess. Get started by getting labs for e2 sensitive see where your at. If you are indeed low get off the AI and let it come up on its own which it will. I would get labs ASAP as low e2 is not a good thing and needs to be corrected.
