Started out on axiron for approximatley 9months was unresponsive even at 120mg per day. Switched doctors and endo. Completely off retested and switched to testosterone cypionate 100mg weekly now for the last 6months. Last labs showed total test in the mid 500’s. Recently adjusted dose to 100mg Q6 days. Due for updated labs soon.
The wife and I would like another child. I have approached Endo about adding HCG/HMG and recently had a semen analysis(waiting to see results). As of late I have also noticed my libido is still sky high, but I am starting to have premature ejaculation issues. I am going to request blood work to check E2.
Curious as to memembers thoughts. I appologize I do not have recent blood work to post.
What are thoughts regarding Hgh?
Options, oppionions?
I am blessed to already have two children a boy and girld but would love to have another.
I am hesitent to use Clomid and refuse to be taken of Test.
Unfortunately, you are most likely infertile buddy. You will have to go off test to get fertile again…as far as I know. However, 100mg weekly…you aren’t producing. Also, I have the opposite of premature ejaculation since a few weeks on testosterone. Almost like I have to work to get off… Lol
There have been studies regarding running hcg while on testosterone therapy to maintain spermatogenesis.
I will look for the links latter. Basically they ran 200mg test cypionate to shut down the testes and then added in hcg in doses of 125, 250 500 EOD. Findings showed that the higher doses of hcg maintained spermatogenesis.
Search pubmed
I am at work and cannot access it right now.
T only will have you shut down…With the addition of hcg, you should still be producing sperm. You’ll also probably feel “better”. My sense of well-being is improved with hcg in the protocol.
Yeah, I have heard of guys taking both at the same time and being fertile. However, you will have to redial yourself in again because the hcg will increase T and E. As far as I know the E from hcg will not be controlled by an AI. Someone with more experience from hcg will have to chime in on that.
I wonder if my E2 is starting to elevate, what else could cause the new incidence of premature ejaculation?
I will get lab work first, see what the endo says about arimidex as well.
What is liquidex and how is it dosed, if dr is unwilling to prescribe hcg how else is others getting it?
Liquidex is research chem arimidex. Same thing, dosed the same except it is in liquid form and not from a pharmacy. Google it. Most get their hcg from black market sources if they can’t get it prescribed. You shouldn’t have a problem getting it prescribed if you are trying to have children. You may need to go to a fertility doctor though if your GP won’t prescribe it.
You may be fine. I can give you two real world examples.
I have been on test at 200mg/wk for 7 years. Throw in 1 or 2 cycles per year. My wife had been on birth control for over 10 years and wanted to come off. We agreed that if something happened, it was meant to happen. In the back of my mind, I thought, no way in hell is this going to happen.
Less than a month later, boom, she’s preggo.
Example number 2. My best friend is trying to get pregnant with his wife. He’s been on a similar amount of time but has tried to come off in the past and always goes back on.
They try for 6 months with no luck. He goes on HCG and clomid with the test. Another 6 months, no luck. They take out the test, upped the HCG and added ADEX I think and that did the trick. His second one went much faster as he added the HCG upfront and came off the test. I think it took them less than 6 months.
Bottom line? Everyone is different and testosterone is NOT male birth control. Dropping the test and adding HCG / clomid is almost always a good start if you are serious about it. I wish you the best of luck!!
Still playing phone tag with the Endo. Last message he left me regarding a recent semenalysis was that it looked grim, wtf does that mean give me numbers. I do have an appointment the second week in January if we don’t speak by then. He at one time mention seeing a urologist. The one he mentioned does sperm extractions which I have no desire to under go since I know what they entail.
Just run some clomid and live with the negative mood sides until she’s pregnant and then quit the clomid. If you can wait about a year Androxal should be on the market and that will also get the job done without the negative effect on mood.
By the way 25mg a day of Clomid will maintain HPTA function up to about 200mg a week of T. After that, even with Clomid, you’re shut down.
Heard from endo. He says that no sperm were present in my specimen. Find that a tad hard to believe. I will obtain the results myself sometime in the next week. I have had no trauma to my genitals. I have two children naturally ages 5 and 4. Dosing right now is test cypionate 100mg q6 days.

I don’t find it hard to believe at all…if you are on test without hcg or a SERM, you are going to be shut down. That’s just how it works, unfortunately. T is being used in China in a TRT-level dose as male birth control.
With injecting 100mg Q7days
Now Q6 days same dose
Will run a more complete panel with prolactin thyroid etc next month or so.
Fairly sure I have non obstructive azoospermia. Again that being the case why not try adding hcg and recheck semenalysis in say 3 months. I know I could potential have a needle aspiration to confirm this but would rather start with the least invasive course of action.
I will be scheduling an appointment with a reproductive endo who specializes in infertility to get his take on things.
Goodolboy, I’ll be following your experiences please keep us updated. I’ve just learned this morning that I have a zero count as well. I won’t hijack your thread, but I wanted to let you know good luck and thanks everyone for the responses - others in similar boats are anxiously reading as well.
