The Reproductive group I reached out to only deals with IVF and the femaile side of infertility so I am back to finding a urologist.
Just get some HCG. Incredibly cheap from international pharmacies.
Just visited a Urologist who specializes in male infertility. Given my wifes age and other factors we have decided to come off test and switch to beta Hcg 750iu monday wednesday and friday. Should start subq injections next wednesday if not friday. He wanted me to wait 6/7 days after my last test injection prior to starting Hcg.
My concearn is being left with little to no testosterone in my system and feeling like shit for possibly a couple of weeks. I am debating on starting the Hcg sooner to get it into my system prior to Test Cypionates half life what are your guys thoughts? After my wife becomes pregnant I intend to freeze seamen and return back on HRT.
What about adding Alpha Male or other supplements like ginseng with Hcg? Currently take an L-arginine product, 5-mthf, pycnogenol, multi vitamin from Ortho Molecular, Magnesium Orotate, NAC, Zinc along with vitamin D and Fish oil etc. The reasons for certain supplements is due to difficiencies noted in micro nutrient testing. New Primary I switch to about a year ago ran everything under the sun micro nutrient testing, Heavy Metal, VLDP good bit of cardiac work up given family history etc.

Just came across another study.
Conclussion states Low dose human chorionic gonadotropin appears to maintain semen parameters in hypogonadal men on testosterone replacement therapy.
Concomitant intramuscular human chorionic gonadotropin preserves spermatogenesis in men undergoing testosterone replacement therapy.
Hsieh TC, Pastuszak AW, Hwang K, Lipshultz LI.
So this helps maintain sperm production. What about jump starting production if you’ve already been on TRT? I spoke with a urologist this morning and he said it could take over a year for sperm production to resume after cessation of TRT. I swear I’ve come across men online who have been on TRT alone, started taking HCG, had kids no problem in a matter of months.
Well I am off my TRT now 9 days feel slightly off but not horrible so far. The pharmacy screwed up I do not have Novarell (Hcg) as of yet. Was half tempted to take a half dose of test but held off. No supplementation so far. Thinking of adding Tribulus and Fenugreek together or something Similar to Alpha Male to try to kick start things.
Did you ever get semen analysis results? I’ve been on TRT for 3 years now and mine was 0.00 lol. If your’s is “low” hcg should work, if you’re 0 like me it sounds like getting off test is your only good shot. The urologist I spoke with said it could take up to a year to start producing having been shut down 3 years.
My sperm count was 0 as well. Urologist going right to Hcg instead of waiting and will adjust accordingly maybe have to do clomid but wants to go this route first. My meds just Came in Last night and am starting injections this evening. Still tired but not too bad.
Seriously… This is a no brainer. Run Clomid with your TRT until she’s pregnant and then drop it. HCG will bring sperm count up some but you need FSH. Your other option is running HMG but why? A couple of months of Clomid and this is a wrap.
I asked about clomid and he insisted on droping test and running Hcg first. When asked about running both he was not confortable with the idea since he bases dosage of Testosterone levels. In a month I will have labs drawn, two months another semen analysis. I would love to run clomid but not confortable getting it else where.
If that’s the case there is abetter way to go. Keep your current protocol and add a little HMG. That’s an FSH analog which is what you need. I do not recommend running high doses of HCG. E2 will go through the roof.
It pains me that we have to figure this stuff out ourselves. Endos and urologists for the most part are useless. If you have any issues go to a good naturopath that deals with hormone replacement. They’ll script HMG and you’re on your way.

This is only a no-brainer if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Clomid or any other SERM along with TRT will not illicit any benefit that you are looking for. If your TRT is shutting you down, why do you think you will get a response from Clomid in regards to FSH (what we are concerned about here) levels? Do you have studies backing up your claims? Any bloodwork confirming that TRT along with SERM will increase FSH levels?
There is a reason that AAS users don’t start using PCT until at least 2 weeks after their cycles with cypotionate/ethanate esters.
Quite frankly I don’t think you have any idea what you are speaking about. This forum seems to be full of that lately.
OP: If you want to do this right you need to research AAS PCT protocls on this site (not other sites who have advice equally as bad as to waht Brent gave you)
Blood work done yesterday. See urologist next thursday. No need to bother with a seman analysis at this time sperm take anywhere from 60-90 days to mature and become viable. Labs done CBC, CMP, FSH, LH, Test both total and free, Prolactin.
Forgot to mention my energy level sucks, Libdo has not change, was and is, always high especially around my wife. I have some premature ejaculation issues but no trouble getting hard. Thank god for foreplay and vibrators. Feel horrible for my wife though. Hardly take any meds only wellbutrim SR 150mg and Trilipex 45mg. hCG still at 750iu subQ monday wednesday and friday.
