Excellent news Brotard!
I’m not a big fan of popping a pill for every minor thing (not talking about your pain of course!), but fyi in case you didn’t know, they have “stool softeners” you can take. (too much info?..lol)

Good news. Best of luck on your recovery and don’t be a stranger on the Combat Forum. You’re advise on techinques/ training for Judo are very much appreciated.
Thank you Brother- I appreciate it.

Glad to hear all went well. The constipation from the pain meds was the worst part of my daughter’s recovery after surgery. Get off 'em as soon as you can.
Thank you Ksnap, I feel pretty good all in all.
I have reached a workaround with the constipation

Lets say I have found solace in Colace.
( and prune Juice)
Thank you people-
I do appreciate all the comments.
reading them makes me happy
Solace in Colace, sounds like your next log title
So when do you start PT? How long will activity be restricted? I’m imagining a good long while.
I am trying not to talk too much here- its a workers comp issue
It could indeed be my next log title.
6 weeks total of leg brace
pt after that I hope
considering in person you look EXACTLY like your avatar it is good you are keeping it on the down low
Hope you have a quick recovery.
PeteS
I am relieved - I thought it was pretty obvious

Italian roast beef. It has protein and carbs or something. For like, healing.
I hope things continue to go well with recovery.
Regards,

Thanks RobertA
I think Im just going a little bit crazy
Its been about 3 weeks since I have been layed up
laying some plans to take a few online courses
so far I have read something like 35 books
I have watched a shit ton of movies
I have discovered the phenomenons of
drug induced dreams
drug induced terrors
and the wonder of an oxe boner
that being said - I am all good here
Good news
Staples taken out
X-rays saying I’m healing well
And can start rehab PT
Right leg is like 1.75 times the left if or more
Relieved
Good news on starting PT. That will help alleviate the insanity.
Any of those 35 books really, really good?
thanks ksnap
yes I read some new and many that reread
some CIA spy assassin type books
Vince Flynn & Barry Eisner- not bad fun to indulge sometimes
The god of small things Arundhati Roy
Sweet tooth Ian McEwan
Farewell to Arms Hemmingway
The Eight Katherine Nevile
The Fire Katherine Nevile
No Mark Upon Her Deborah Crombie
Only Time Will Tell Jeffrey Archer
Staring me in the face are some books-
to read or some ebooks to re- read
Shogun - James Clavell
5 Rings - Musashi
The Octo - Karen Englemann
several Hemmingway books
I am pretty much a ’ speed reader ’ youd think I would have been better in school
and I have a few online clases- I want to try to take.
Other then that - I have been getting stronger each day and can hobble a little further
we have stair -so I have to do that everyday
I used to be a huge reader. Was an English major in a different life. Recently, I have really enjoyed Tana French’s mysteries. Start with In the Woods. Some of the characters reappear in future books.
Thanks Ksnap- I will take a look at those
First PT
leg lifts
some stretches
tens machine and ice.
thought it wasnt much then had to take a nap after.
Its On.
glad to hear you’re on the mend Kevin. I would’ve gladly UPSd the Sopranos series to you. I watched all 6 seasons (again) when I was laid off a couple years ago.
