On the Strenf

12-15 feet is nothing to fuck around with in a free fall especially if there is stuff lying around. I’m glad you were not more seriously injured.

Thanks Jack.

turns out Im pretty fucked up.
MRI came back with bad stufffs
like all bad.
will be seeing an orthopedic surgeon in the am.

Shit, sorry to hear that. I wish you a speedy recovery my friend.

x2

thanks Jack-
thanks scotto

I will summarize

Torn ACL needs to be replaced
Torn PCL
Damaged MCL

Hamstring completely off of the bone

trying to schedule surgery asap

Holy crap. You hit for the leg-injury cycle. All the best my man, keep us posted.

That really sucks! You’re obviously tough as nails, because if that happened to me I would’ve never gotten up off the ground, let alone hobble around with a cane for a few days.

Best wishes to you for your recovery.

Thank you Jack- I hit a grand slam on ligament damage

PG- thank you I am hoping for a good PT and a good recovery.

Surgery - both procedures on tuesday morning

replacing the ACL - from a patella tendon graft
then reattaching the hamstring and PCL to the knee

Ive got some pain threshold issues
Im in a good amount of pain all day nights get worse
but I have a hard time with gauging how well pain meds work

in any case thanks for the e-support

Good luck brother. I hope all goes well.

Oh my. I am so sorry. Torn PCL is so rare. How exactly did you fall? You will be looking at a lot of rehab. But I am confident you will come back strong. I will be thinking of you Tuesday morning.

Thans Jack I appreciate it.

Ksnap- thank you too I appreciate it I do.

PCL is like 1.5 % or less of all knee injuries- It needs to be reattched
as does the Hamstring
Its a work injury- I need to be a little vague

Its not my first rehab- but It will indeed be the biggest.

Damn bro, this blows…

workmen compski?

yes thanks bro
workmens compski indeed

Glad you are getting it fixed as soon as possible, you are a strong domo and i hear they always heal quick and get stronger. Good luck on Tuesday.

all good - had a good surgery
came home all drugged out in and out of sleep all night

Dont worry youll have your strenf back in no time. For now try training your mind…very difficult mafematic equations perhaps? When your taking a dump in your bafroom is a perfect time to get started.

Good news

thanks peeps

taking a dump is illusive
constipation from pain meds + NFL sized knee brace make that a little tricky

Good news. Best of luck on your recovery and don’t be a stranger on the Combat Forum. You’re advise on techinques/ training for Judo are very much appreciated.

Glad to hear all went well. The constipation from the pain meds was the worst part of my daughter’s recovery after surgery. Get off 'em as soon as you can.
