and they did a good job with the rest.

some training 1.17.15 short session
some mobility stuffs
lytp shoulder crap foam not much more

bb complex for activation
bar x3 65 x3 95 3x3

Row x RDL x jump shrug x clean x front squat

C reverse delt machine 4x12
D1 face pull 4x20
D2 tricep rope 4x20
D3 rope standing abs 4x15

notes
rushed for time
bb complex was more of an exploration then anything else
real cleans are out for a while- the catch isnt a good idea
front squats 95x3 a success. not planning on these for many months.

did a bunch of pulldowns before and with pressing-
think I need to take a break from OH pressing neck isn’t happy
rear delts and face pulls felt good- duh.

some training 1.19.15

foam stretchy at home
15 mins elliptical
mo stretching

A1 trap bar dl - 150x10 240 2x10 290 x10 310 x8 bar is 60
A2 HLR 5x8
B1 step up 30’s 3x12
B2 db RDL 30 3x12
C1 lying ham curl 4x12
C2 good girl 4x12
C3 bad girl 4x12

notes
trying to keep trap bar work as a squat vs a pull.
I was surrounded by young- 20-25 y.o. kids with EFS knee sleeves
squat shoes ROUGE belts- one kid squatted 275 for like 3.5 reps.
I had not seen this phenomenon before.

How is the knee?

So, after an injury that could/would have left a lesser man crippled permanently you are doing a close to 2 X body weight Trap Bar DL for reps?

Just to be clear.

The fact you are doing this is a testament to your will.

LOL
Im on the DYEL side of compact smallish guy- so he was smaller then me.
I suspect a buck 65.
but I will give him and his posse props for organizing their accessories and outfits so well.

Glad to see you’re on the mend Kevin.

This rehab would’ve left a lesser man in its wake!

thanks hawckcapt…

Im still feeling like Im in the undertow

1.21.15

heat kicked off sometime last night
needless to say this crippled me today.

Later I managed 100 bw squats and 100 hindu pushups
broken up in like sets of 10

You’re amazing! Cannot believe how far you’ve come after such a serious injury not all that long ago. Great work!

Wow. I too am impressed with your progress.

You’re a damn Phoenix 'bro!!!

Yeah,

He is kind of the real deal.

Thanks peeps- I appreciate all the E support.

I am feeling very blessed - that Im not worse off.

I was at PT today - and it came up that they should have done video of me the first week-
because I was fucked up and they have felt I’ve come a long way.

truth be told - Im still fucked up and will be for a while.
there is still allot of discomfort or what others might call pain.
and Im ready to eat a bottle of advil pretty much everyday.

there are a TON of cliched sayings from wrestling- and athletics in general
I had many a 'you got this - you are a wrestler 'texts.

I learned alot from this process.

Really impressive hard work in here, sounds like the PT was on point, how’s your ROM?

Add in the “you got this”, “you’re a wrestler” support but I actually think you are a very smart, tough guy. Keep at it.

Reads like you have a ton of fight left and though you may be battling you’re coming out on the winning side.

Good to read you’re doing so well. After all the damage to your leg I’d never guess you’d be doing 100 BW squats after 4 months.

Thanks for all the e-support brings a briny tear to my eye.

joking aside- I do appreciate it.

Turns out ROM is 2-3 degrees shy of being fully straight.
Im not so sure it was ever straight.

and I am at 110 degrees of flexion ‘normal’ is 150
I can squat - not quite ATG but cant touch my foot to my ass- like I can on the other leg.

Its been allot of work- 1.5-2hours 3x a week for basically 4 weeks.

Steve- those 100 bw squats where 10x10

1.23.15 some training

after all this cool PT talk I pretended I was a B.Builder
Foam stretchy shit some mobility crap

TRX medley face pull x row x pushup x fall out x inverted pike 3x10

A face pulls 4x25
B v-grip pulldowns
C1 low incline db bench 40 5x15
C2 CSR 3 pts 5x10
D1 HS OH press 1 pt 5x10
D2 HS lat pulldown 2 pts 5x10
E1 hammer curl 30 5x10
E2 tricep band pushdown 5x20+

notes-
felt ok- shoulders felt a little banged up
since crutches - they have felt like dirt.
HS - machines I think these two are Ok the pulldown is meh
curls- to complete the brotard look
