I’ve been training with weights since dec 2011. i starting doing normal split, and a little bit of powerlifting. i’ve found a training center near my home that is specialized on Olympic Weightlifting. i had never done it before, but i loved it, and i’m planning to start training there. but…
i’m worried about my physique, i’m endomorph, not ripped, and i want to get bigger and stronger.
do you think i will get smaller arms for not training arms? any part of my body will get smaller? or my BF will increase?
what do you think could happen?
thank you!
I WANNA KEEP MY PHYSIQUE LEAN MUSCULAR, WHILE MY LIFTS GET BETTER!

Okay.

If it’s a huge deal for you, then do some arm work on top of whatever weightlifting training you’re doing. Problem solved.

Well that kind of depends on what your body looks like now, how well you’re eating (and how much), what your training program looked like before this and what your training program will look like at this new facility.

If you tend to take in more calories than you’re expending, then this is a distinct possibility. Or if you eat like shit in general.

You will achieve results or fall short of your goals in direct proportion to how much effort you put into your training and diet.

Don’t we all.
And be wary of using pictures of world class lifters as a guideline, those guys train full time, have been training full time since they were young (for decades, most of them) and are likely substantially less than natural, despite what doping control results will tell you.
EDIT: Sorry if I’m coming across like a douche, my back is pretty sore right now and it’s affecting my cognitive processes.

I find quad soreness to be my biggest influence in increased douchery.
If you want to look like an athlete, train like an athlete.
If you want to look like a bodybuilder, train and diet like a body builder.
