I remember back in the day watching the O on ABC Sports, a regular network.

Of course that was way back when we only had 3 channels.

Yep! Although in PA where I grew up, it was channel 6.

I used to watch it with my dad. Saw Frank Zane win the O on there.
I also remember standing in a Sears store watching Mike Mentzer win Mr Universe (with a perfect score) on multiple TVs.
