Both Flex Lewis and David Henry are awesome bodybuilders. This was very close, but I really think Henry was better. Flex had a bit of a size advantage on Henry, but when it comes to conditioning and all around package, I think Henry brought his legs up enough to win. Got to say though, Flex seems like a very humble champion and a very good ambassador for the sport. Enjoying his interview a lot.
I think Flex’s physique is pretty complete. Not as much pop as Henry’s upper body, nor as sliced…but proportion-wise and all around, he’s complete.
I’m sorry but this supplement award guy is impossible to listen to. Even moreso than Bob.

I sort of agree but I think they were punishing the distension in his midsection more than anything… it’s one thing on a guy 250lbs+ but I think they are likely to look at it more negatively in this division where aesthetics is maybe more looked on…

I agree and that’s probably why he won. Flex reminded me of a smaller Jay Cutler in his prime.

Wow. What a posedown. I have always been a big fan of Phil’s but after seeing Generation Iron, I have a newfound respect for Kai (who I used to think was a bit pretentious). I don’t think Phil ran away with this one; Kai seems neck and neck with Phil.
