There is always the 135 squat for 10 minutes.
Start at the beginning of my log and see what I have been doing last 6 months.

Here, I just laid down the law in GAL with my own damn challenge… lol. That other one is a clusterfuck.

how about 2x bodyweight for max reps? I’d rather do 550 for 15 or so then 270 for a gazillion
Braggart.

Actually, it only makes sense that Pete has to do double whatever the rest of us do.

I wouldn’t do it because a) it would be boring as shit, and b) I would need to take 2 days off of work to recover.
Can’t say the deadlift for reps appeals to me either. I know that would put me out of action for a week!

A squat one? now that would be a different story.

He’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy.

You bastard!

Okay so my attempt might show up as a cautionary tale for everyone else.

I gave my wife substandard instructions and she shut off the time at 38 seconds when I let go of the bar the first time.

Since she shut off the time I didn’t feel right in continuing so I got 16 reps in 38 seconds. I have no idea what I could ahve done in the full 2:00.

This was for bodyweight right? What have you got on the bar? It looks like more than bodyweight. Maybe you look slimmer in video

Are you going to give it another go?

I think he should give it another go next week but he seems to be of the mind set that the one time was it and any more is not fair, ahh well…

Thats 195 which is within 1-2lbs either way what I weigh.

I don’t know about doing it again, it sort of feels like cheating if I do.

Here is BB. His weight is 165 and I believe he got 42 reps. Please excuse his counting fail. He was a good sport to go along with this.

Something happened to my original post. I did 135 (bodyweight 134) for 55 reps I think. We did it after regular Dl training so it felt light but by rep 30 it was vomitous. My meat loaf from diner almost made a reappearance.

I made it to age plus 9. Where do I redeem my bonus points?

You could have at least waited until the end of the month to give the rest of us a chance, O. To be honest, I thought you would run away with this. Nice work.

Joe, you can definitely have a do-over. As many as you want, I say. Just post your best.

I’m deliberating whether to pull 115 from a deficit or 135 from a better vantage point.

Thanks it was kind of fun but tbh, I’d rather do a higher weight, lower rep one. However, Petes suggestion of 2x bodyweight kind of sounds sucky too. I might get three reps at that weight.

I think Joe should do it again as many times as he likes. It’s not like wind sucking ventures are in limited supply.

I can’t wait to see how you make out. Based on your attempt with 155, I bet it will be pretty good.

Great stuff! That looks exhausting and I’m so not looking forward to this. I agree that Joe definitely gets a do over (although I don’t know if “gets” is a great word to use in this. Kinda like saying you “get” to get kicked in the nuts again. O, that was awesome work.

I either need to do it after my next deadlift session next week or try it during my deload.

Can we have a “sleep in late” challenge or something easy like that?

james

I’m exhausted watching these vids!

Great work!

o_s is a MACHINE!!!

Outstanding job Julie. You can redeem those whereever you like.

You know me, I’m going to suggest a skid mark flaming wheel o’doom (ok, ab roller) challenge. It isn’t so much the first day, anyone can kill themselves one day with an ab roller and not be able to walk the second.

It is do a number, and then the next day do the same number …

Something you should practice first so you don’t do yourself permanent harm.

I knew I shouldn’t have gotten fat, I’ll never beat ksnap on deadlifts, but on ab roller reps, two days in a row? I might have a chance.

Why do I have to be so tall and fat!!!

Nice pulling folks. Don’t think there is a chance I can pull 230 for 55, doesn’t mean I’m not gonna try.
