no my brother, it is not much different. use rye instead of corn. distill as usual.
I make my triumphant return from page 2.
this is my last week in sparta until the end of feb. I did not train when I got into town yesternight. I woke up just early enough to drag my sled before breakfast today. I didn’t time it today, but I will tomorrow. I went .4 miles with sled + 20 lbs. on the way out, it felt really light, and I realized that all the pebbles on the side of the road from the snowplows made dragging very easy. on the way back, I dragged on the nice clean middle of the road, where it sucked a little more. felt good to do some work. my heel blisters (5) from xc skiing a week ago are at the “real damn itchy” stage of healing.
This afternoon, I will go in and bench, since I didn’t last week. I am not sure if I will squat in the morning after I drag, or in the afternoon after work. I just know that my performance is better in spine loaded excercises when I do them later. I guess it will depend on whether I get up early enough to drag and squat before breakfast. squats will end the 7th 5/3/1 cycle, and I am pretty happy with my progress. For cycles 8 and 9, I will be lowering my accessory weights, and drastically cutting my rest time, to make it a more fat-burning affair. I will also try to lift 4 times per week. I will definitely be dragging my sled, doing farmers walks and shit like that almost every morning so that I can peel of some of this lard. Oh yeah, I’ll diet too. I am reading yet another book on the wonders of protein and the evils of grains. Its pretty good. Its called “the Power Protein LifePlan”. its not new stuff, but it was referred to in a recent article on elitefts.com, and I got interested. Lots of info on anti-oxidants, minerals, and “why John is such a fat fuck”. So I will add some berries to my diet of meat, peanutbutter, potato chips and meat.
Otherwise, the world is a fine and wonderful place, and it is pretty damn cold in sparta.
train colder
old lardass.
