Wow, that felt good. Although I may pay for it later. Four of my young officers where there, so I had to pick it up and show what the old man can still do. The 700 V-Squat was the most I have ever attempted. They were not exactly super deep. I attempted the 600 lb belt squat to see what it would feel like. Again, the most I have ever attempted.
I’ve been getting the urge to compete again, after taking last year off. I promised my wife that I was in semi-retirement.
Impressive leg workouts. Bet they help bench and deads.
I deadlift semi-sumo, so I think the belt squats will have a carry over.

I felt much stronger than this going in. I deadlift every two weeks. I think next time around, I’ll avoid my weighted walks during the week. Both in one week might be too much.

No. I’m pretty sure too much for me. My legs were still a little sore. I should have known better. I thought I was fine because all I did for four days was sit on my ass and watch basketball.
