I really got after it on the shoulder carries. It’s been a while since I pushed it that far with those. My quads were already screaming when I was done with them.
During my 20s I read 28 was peak strength age. This site–and your log–smashes that fallacy.
Good sandbag work. Getting that sandbag on shoulder and carrying it that far surely helps deadlifting from floor. Check out a significantly solid Australian guy on youtube who “plays” with BIG rocks and splits firewood in backyard. He also lifts in gym but backyard stuff is fascinating.
