Summer is here. It was 93 at workout time. Every week I look forward to Wednesday and carries. When the day comes, however, I start thinking “this is going to hurt.” Once I get started I can find different ways to challenge myself.
Prior to tonight the most I have pulled was 135. I have more than 205 in me, but there will be other days.
The overhead plate carry is terrible, but it must make a person stronger.
Impressive workout.
I like to think it has something to do with age.

I’m pretty excited about today’s effort, after yesterday’s off day. My workout actually called for a 475 top set, but I was feeling pretty good and added five more pounds. I see Bambiwithhorns always going over 500 all the time, so I tried 500 on the very next set. It was welded to the floor. I have not been in the 500s for a while, so it was a good test.
Nothing wrong at all with 480.
