I envy you. I get distracted to easily at home. I wish I could lift at home and listen to the music. I have a half rack in my garage that hasn’t been used in a couple of years. It’s going to the salvage.
Until the pandemic my stuff had been a corner of the garage, untouched for 15 years. When they closed the gyms, I moved to the garage. I added some gear in the process. Sometimes it’s just nice to walk out the back door and get it done.

I dropped my heavy set by 25 pounds. I’ll start building back up now. Looking back, I probably should have included a one rep set of 340 or so after 320.
As always , solid work Crip!
Thanks

That’s all she wrote. We’re heading out visit my son for Fathers’ Day.
Everything moved fast and easy. In fact, I was there less than an hour. My diet ends today. I lost 11 pound. I’ll see how much I gain back today.
Happy Fathers’ Day T-Nation Dads!

In the words of Robert Frank, that was a “sick pump.”
Must confess I’ve always been a gym rat. Love the feel and atmosphere of a gym.
As do I. During the week, I train right after work. Most days it’s pretty busy at that time. On some of those days, I prefer to avoid other people. On the weekends, I am there early in the morning. There are really no crowds to speak of.

Backwards Prowler Pull: +100 / 100 yards
Prowler Push: + 70 / 100 yards
+50 / 100 yards
That was probably my hardest carry night for a while. I normally do pulls at the end, but I changed things up tonight. 135 was the most I have pulled and 100 is the most I have pulled backwards. My legs are on fire.
Awesome workout Crip!
Thanks
One of the advantages of being fully retired. Can pick and choose when you hit the gym.
I hope to find out in about 32 months.

I’ve just been messing with different rep combinations. About a year ago I started doing pullovers with reps of 15. I started with 75. My goal is to hit four reps of 15 at 125 since that is the highest the dumbbells go at the gym.

I hope the rack pulls will continue to pay off for deadlifts. I can only deadlift every other week at higher weights. 700 was not a complete lock out. I was able to stand all the way up with it, but I did not hold it. In my mind it still counts.
I also met another old guy. He’s 56 and has been really trying to bench more. He said he saw me yesterday and he had some questions. He said he has gone from a 185 bench to 250. He’s now stuck there. I gave him my two cents (which is about all my tips are worth).
585 to 700 is a big jump. I bet your feeling it in your traps.
700 in any form is great
OK. That some serious lifting there.
