My son, who at Gonzaga Law School, said the same. His little truck does pretty well in the snow, so it’s not much of an issue for him.
I find that when I am sick I sleep a lot more. Helps me with recovery.,
For sure. That’s when the body really needs it.

I decided not to attempt sandbags tonight, to avoid falling. The prowler on the snow and ice presented it’s own issues. My driveway had an area that was free off ice right down the middle of it, about half way up. It was a nice 25 degrees.
Double Jeez. We’re sweating here.
I’ve done more. I was trying to take it somewhat easy, because of the snow.

We had nearly 10 inches of snow last night. There was really no one at the gym who could spot me, so I went “light.” I then went to my mom’s house and shoveled her snow. Then went home and blew out my snow.

My legs are shaking. I am really starting to like the V-Squat machine. I can’t reach back anymore to grab the bar for traditional squats. This is a nice way to get a similar feel.
Nice.
My 24 hr. has a V-Squat also- it’s a pretty good machine, and not often being used which is handy.
I still need to hit the belt squat.

I came home and blew snow around again.
I finally hit her up with my plan to attend the 2025 World Police and Fire Games in Alabama. Her response supervised me. It was, “I’ve never been to Alabama. That sounds fun.”
That’s a go.
^agree
Yep. She must be a keeper.
Dang, so you’re 24+ months out??
That’s a long training cycle ![]()
Ah, Alabama in the summertime. Start doing work outs in a steam room to prepare. ![]()
If you don’t know by now…
Nope. Just long term goals.
