If your sleeping that much , I’m sure it’s because your body needs it. Get it while you can. 8hrs a night is terrific at our age.
Thanks guys. I am thinking I am going to take a deload this week. We have Dad’s Weekend at my daughter’s college this weekend, so there will be no training anyway. In doing some reading, I found it is best not to exercise and to get some rest while I am on the meds I have.
Sounds right- rest and recover.

I’m back after taking a week off. The rest was good, but I was getting the itch. The garage was not too cold tonight, with the heater going. I think soon I may have to starting hitting the gym again after work, once it gets too cold.

No lifting tonight. I have been avoiding weighted walks on deadlift week. Instead, the wife and I did yoga. This was my first time. I have to admit, I enjoyed the stretch, and I think I will keep doing it.

I did all that while in a Zoom meeting. I just turned the camera and mic off and went for it.
I definitely had the wrong careers ![]()
The beauty of the modern world! Excellent work!
I think that’s really funny.
Bet your breathing made the others wonder…
What’s funny is my camera was on at first. I turned if off because I did not want to look like an idiot. About 30 minutes in I lost my connection. I texted the organizer and told him I was in the waiting room because I got knocked off. His reply was “What, did you drop your barbell on it?” I just gave a simple “No.”

It’s been a while since I did Weighted Walk Wednesday, and I could really feel it.
Is that 200yrds per shoulder?
Just the left shoulder. I’m not coordinated enough to throw it over my right one.
I should have phrased my question differently. I was sincerely curious if you were carrying the 200lb bag 100 or 200 yards per shoulder. I have zero experience with this exercise. It seems like a great core exercise.
No, just one shoulder. When I was using lighter weights, I could do both shoulders. 200 is a different story. It’s really good cardio. I was really blowing hard doing this.

With the day off for Thanksgiving, a trip to the public gym was in order. I saw something new today. I guy took a dip of Scoal between sets.
How can someone lift and chew, I’d puke. Happy Thanksgiving
