I encourage you to shed those feelings. Slow at least means you’re still moving.
I saw a 30 something guy today in gym walking backwards while pulling a prowler. I’ve read that is the best way to use a prowler if you’re over 50. Something about knee health.
Just saw the Aug. meet note- looks good man, and with your son too
The agility, sprints (relative!), carries, sledge ect… We all (in this section) would do well to bring in some of that to our training- Myself for sure.
On Bikers note- sometimes just moving= moving enough.
…but who wants to ‘just move’ my friends
Thanks fellas. I get it. I just recall when I played football and had a second gear. My first couple “sprints” are a little rough now days. It takes a while to loosen things up.
I was also thinking about my dad when he was 51. He was already old and broken down. I still feel good.
As someone who uses a wider stance, I have been playing with Ed Coan’s frog stance. I must say it has made a major difference. Everything was really light.
Thanks guys. The funny is, I screwed up my left hip doing sprints the night before. I hobbled around the rest of the night and all day a work. I wondered if I should even try walks. Once I got warmed up, I didn’t feel a thing. Of course now, it hurts again.
