Modesty here still.
If you recorded your walking in feet vice steps you’d blow everyone on here out of the water.
They really make for a great exercise.
I have my driveway paced out for the steps, so it’s more or less. I may get down to Lowes and get a roll-a-tape.

Due to other people being on the equipment, I kind of when out of my normal order today. I used my belt and straps for everything after 405. I had a couple young guys next to me, who looked like they wanted to see what gramps had in the tank.
50/135? All at once? I’d either cramp up, loose count or fall asleep. Other than push ups, sit ups, and other calisthenics I don’t think I’ve ever done any lift for 50 reps. Damn impressive.
gramps. Jeez.
I was blowing pretty hard at the end.

The sun was out, and the garage door was open. My son is coming home tonight for spring break. I took Friday off work. We’ll enjoy a morning bench workout, followed by an afternoon of golf. He has no chance to beat me on the bench, he’ll probably take the old man on the golf course.

That felt pretty good. I have decided on a meet on August 20th. It’s not too far from where my son lives, and he says he wants to join in. Both of us will probably do deadlift only.
Advantage of the one leg deadlift?
It stretches the hamstrings. They are something I learned when I was doing the bootcamps with my Israeli friend.

I think I have said the before. Getting old really takes out any speed I might have had (I didn’t have much). Sprints feel like running in sand. My mind thinks I can to it, but my body says no.
