Farmers’ Walk
4 x 75 in each hand

It was the first day in a while I have felt good. I think I ate something bad at the work potluck on Friday.

I started a new DL cycle, so I really dropped the weight. For Farmers walk I walked from the garage to where the grass starts in the driveway (past the blacktop). I thought I would attach a photo to describe where I walked and back.

How much total weight in your garage gym?

I currently have 550 pounds of plates, plus dumbbells.

I have a vision of you, carrying the 550, with DB’s hanging off your front/back.
That would make for a sweet pic.

Crippler deadlifts more than this.

Ha. It’s happened.

What band did you get? Rating?

It is a Ethos heavy band. I do not know of a rating. I ordered it from Dicks.

Five Second Paused Bench Against Band: 4 sets x 1 rep x 225

Push Ups:
2 x 50

I wanted three reps at 340, but I hit the rack coming up. It threw me off, so I called it off. With no spotter, I thought it was safe.

I didn’t use the new band because it’s too stiff.

That’s it. I last deadlifted five days ago. I normally need at least seven days rest. We’re taking a couple of trips this month, so this was the only way to set myself up the rest of the month. I kept the volume way down, to avoid overtraining.

I really worked the arms this morning. I have a pretty good pump going. To celebrate, I think I’ll sport the tank top the rest of the day.

I thought I would do something different tonight. My forearms are fried right now.

I also started a intermitted fasting diet today. I won’t eat anything from 7:00 PM to 11: AM. The one change I am making is a protein shake in the morning. The first day was pretty easy.

Farmers carries’ 1400 steps was about a complete body workout. Probably l/2 mile.

4th round 100 steps @ 100# means it’s likely time to add chain around your neck and scare some neighbors.

I didn’t really figure on distance. I thought about the chain, but with the 100s that was probably a no go.

It was only 90 at workout time. I kinda like training in the heat. It reminds me of high school and college. Some buddies and I had keys to the high school weight room. We had a good bunch of guys who trained together for several years. There was no heat or AC in the old weight room. In the summer you would just crank up a couple of big fans and go for it.
